Themed "One Cup, All Worlds," the 24th Seoul International Cafe Show (hereafter, Seoul Cafe Show) opened today (November 19th) at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, featuring 631 companies and 3,903 brands from 35 countries.

Beginning as Asia's first coffee exhibition and growing into a global coffee business platform, the Seoul Cafe Show this year highlights the diverse value and expansion of a single cup of coffee. Coffee, tea, dessert, raw materials, and equipment brands from major coffee-producing countries like Brazil, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica, as well as the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, and Japan, will gather together to showcase the latest trends in the cafe industry.

Hall A, one of the most visited spaces at the Seoul Cafe Show each year, will showcase the "Cafe Innovation Bank," offering a comprehensive overview of the cafe industry, from new startups to brand expansion and operational strategies. In addition to practical startup items like equipment, raw materials, bakery products, and ice cream, the show will also present differentiated strategies such as menu development, customer experience, and space concepts. It promises to be an ideal venue for aspiring entrepreneurs and cafe owners to develop strategic directions and gain insights for successful operation.

Hall B, a vibrant space showcasing the coffee that makes Seoul Cafe Show shine, will showcase tea, desserts, sentimental goods, tableware, and interior design accessories that complement the tea scene. A diverse range of brands will showcase their "Cafe Life Inspiration" aesthetic, offering visitors the opportunity to experience trendy space design ideas and tea and dessert pairing trends firsthand, providing inspiration for cafe interior designers, dessert brand operators, and lifestyle merchandisers.

"Multi-Sensory Coffee Tasting," located in Hall C on the third floor, allows visitors to experience the entire process of brewing coffee, from raw coffee beans to the finished cup, with all five senses. Visitors can sample beans from various origins and compare and experience the latest equipment, including roasters, smoke extractors, grinders, coffee machines, brewing devices, and water filters, to discover solutions tailored to their coffee preferences and business needs.

The "Coffee Alley" space, relocated to Hall C, will feature renowned roastery cafes from countries like the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands, offering visitors the opportunity to experience a diverse range of global specialty coffees. Roasteries like Archers Coffee from the United Arab Emirates, renowned for its meticulous roasting and maximizing the unique characteristics of its beans, and Doc Coffee Roasters from the Netherlands, which has produced numerous world barista champions, will also participate, offering visitors a chance to experience the diverse spectrum of specialty coffee.

The final section, Hall D, will focus on "Premium Brand Curation," showcasing the signature menus of emerging domestic and international roasteries, along with the latest machine trends. This will captivate coffee experts, baristas, and importers and distributors contemplating the future of the coffee industry.

In addition, the Seoul Cafe Show has announced the 2026 coffee industry trend keyword, "Beyond (Cafe: The Era of Resonance)": ▲Better Community (a new place of connection), ▲Everyday Wellness (health in everyday life), ▲Your Moment (my time), ▲Original Local (loconomy), ▲Nature Forward (sustainability), and ▲Digital Touch (technological innovation). This word symbolizes the transformation of cafes beyond mere spaces for enjoying a cup of coffee, into platforms where people, brands, regions, technologies, and natural elements of emotion resonate with consumers.

The World Coffee Leaders Forum, held concurrently with the Seoul Cafe Show, is Asia's only global coffee knowledge platform, with participants from over 75 countries. It is sponsored by the International Coffee Organization (ICO), a UN agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Specialty Coffee Association. This year, the World Coffee Leaders Forum, themed "The Architects of Gastronomic Experience," will expand its scope to encompass the F&B industry, including coffee, sharing insights on customer experience from domestic and international leaders.

Notably, speakers include world champion baristas, coffee producers, and other experts from diverse fields. The "Plenary" session, designed to connect with industry leaders, will also feature speakers such as Noh Hee-young, CEO of Food & Beverage Research, and Jeong Min-gyu, Senior Designer for the VMD Team at Hyundai Department Store The Hyundai. They will share their success stories and expertise in coffee, branding, and customer experience.

The "World Coffee Leaders Forum" Champion Session featured 2025 World Brewers Cup Champion George Jinyang Peng and Indonesia's Georgius Audrey Teja, the World Coffee in Good Spirits 2025 Champion, presenting insights into the changing global coffee market through expert perspectives.

In addition, the Seoul Cafe Show will feature various side events, including the Seoul Coffee Festival, which extends beyond the exhibition hall and takes place throughout downtown Seoul. The "Cafe Show AI Guide" service offers maps, multilingual interpretation, and a comprehensive overview of booth locations, amenities, and routes throughout COEX Halls A-D. It also offers personalized booth recommendations.

A representative from the Seoul Cafe Show stated, "This year, the Seoul Cafe Show, themed 'A Bigger World in a Cup,' emphasizes the value of connection and expansion created by coffee. Through the stories of origins, cities, brands, and creators, each cup represents a new potential for the industry. It aims to become a platform for the global coffee community to grow together."

Meanwhile, the 24th Seoul International Cafe Show, which opened today, will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, with various programs until Saturday, November 22nd. Tickets can also be purchased on-site. <End>
